We lost our Amazon parcels in January, so it's alot less busy than last xmas so far.
Surely it must be specific to your office/ area. I deliver a lot of them daily. Especially recently. Mostly large, heavy stuff but not only.

Felt a lot busier in September/October as was finishing late every day. Barely had a late finish recently and was even home nearly two hours early today! Sure tomorrow will bring more parcels though
You left work 2 hours early?

Based on what I hear sometimes.... Royal Mail need to sort out the discrepancy between rounds/depots.... why are some Posties getting easy rounds that finish way early whereas others are out 30mins, 1 hour+ late...

What a waste of money and terribly unfair.

Some guy came from another depot locally to help out in our depot and said he finishes an hour early daily.... what the hell! this does not happen at our depot, average finish time is probably 30 minutes after our contracted hours.
Most duties if they are clearing, are going at least 2 to 3hrs over daily in our office. It's crazy how different offices are. Starting at 7.15 and not getting out till 10.30 due to the sorting, then if you take your breaks, you're doing the last hr and half in the dark. It's crazy. Ok we don't have to I know, but that doesn't change the fact.
