Mine's DAS REICH (Max Hastings) The Story of the Armoured Divs march to reinforce German defences post D-Day, and the efforts made by the French Resistance to slow then down. The insight in the various opposing factions of the French Resistance, and the attitude of different sections of French Society to German Occupation reminded me a bit of our current IA. Some were willing to risk everything, while others didn't want to risk anything at all! Instead leaving it to others. :cuppa
