Re: Revisions
The reason things will never change is because of things like local agreements. Early finishes for some and lates for others (who arrive in to a half prepped frame when it should be fully prepped) are weaved into the fabric of the company.

Re: Revisions
Also weaved into the company is the way that a lot of the workforce would prefer to ignore or backstab people having problems, rather than help or support them. Someone struggling will at best be ignored, or worse they will be laughed at, belittled and suffer comments like "I could do that round in 3 hours blindfold" - the person saying that is often one of the last out and one of the first back
The CWU have just become an alterative mouthpiece for most things the company say, and neither the CWU or RM will actually deal with the actual issues.
The company will tell the public and media that "every letter counts" while telling delivery staff to "concentrate on premium products" and "fail mail"

Re: Revisions
The latest rumour is we are to have a vote.clashcityrocker wrote: ↑06 Jul 2021, 14:19Our revision was due to be implemented very shortly. It has been delayed.
We have had no vote on the proposals - it is unlikely we will.
The rumour is the revision will be implemented on the new due date even if no repick has taken place.
Either we accept the proposals in which case a repick will take place or we vote against the proposals and the revision will be implemented and duties allocated.
The vote will be at a time and place of the reps choosing and will be by a simple majority of those present.
Rumours.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Revisions
Our revision has been scrapped entirely. People can’t complete now yet they wanted to make walks bigger with less time to do it in. Oh to have a brain

Re: Revisions
Well it's almost the end of the first week after our revision was 'implemented'.
Walks failed everyday, mail failing everyday, packets failing every day.
New frames, new IPS = lot's of missorts.
Frames that don't make sense, whole streets missing, walking round in circles, walking down the same street multiples times, door numbers not in sequence, dead walking everywhere, doing everything uphill.
Already a few off with stress.
I BET THE 'PLANNER' KEEPS THEIR JOB.
WORK TO TIME!
OH! I almost forgot reserves are still secretly working 38 hours per week - but most don't realise it...yet.

Re: Revisions
Same at our place, walks haven’t sequenced right whatsoever, they have made the job absolutely impossible unless you know the walk inside out and even then it will take you 10 times longer to pull the mail out, total balls up. Gonna take another week or 2 to rectify which is gonna be fun

Re: Revisions
The computer says..............so it must be right. Why oh why don't they ask for input from us who do the job! It would save em a lot of money in the long run.yubin282 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 17:44Well it's almost the end of the first week after our revision was 'implemented'.

Re: Revisions
Probably the data for the walks on A+ is completely wrong. When was your A+ last updated? The sequencing sort plans on IMPs, iLSMs and CSSs are based on the A+ data so if the A+ data is wrong then the sequencing will be wrongManboat wrote: ↑15 Jul 2021, 20:58Same at our place, walks haven’t sequenced right whatsoever, they have made the job absolutely impossible unless you know the walk inside out and even then it will take you 10 times longer to pull the mail out, total balls up.
