I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Today we got slaughtered.
we had a load of packets also
had a surge of utility bills and fat screwfix cataloges.
so went over by 1.5 hours!
question?can i get a job in a toy-town office where its really heavy with a lot of crap but you can finish
before 1.00pm?
(should remind ourselves some members have hidden agendas)
list not exhaustive:
spreading anti cwu views/spouting thinly disguised RM views
monitoring posts and other users.
derailing controversial threads by deliberately going "off topic".
relentlessly putting brave face/positive spin on posts.
call me paranoid but i am suspicious of people who never (according to their post history) have a bad day.

Another f****** day, on the back of a conduct charge hovering over my head I get told a customer has complained that i've opened to cards and stole the money FFS
Royal Mail won't break me, though its been fairly close recently!

Could be one or two suspect overweight
delivery pouches in the rear of that their van. I wonder if the where all weighed

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
5 bags belong to the guy I take out and the other 7 are mine which I weighed, the 30+ packets/parcels are mine and his but being the driver I have to deliver them. I ended up cutting off did'nt put the first letter through until 10.55, went back at 2pm leaving 4 bundles and all the packets to be done by someone else this afternoon. Good job the mail is 10% down otherwise we'll never cope

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Yep, someone has taken it out on overtime, just the bundles not the parcels.
