AFAIK mainstream newspapers employ journalists with credentials. Blogsters can be anybody with an opinion and don't necessarily have any bone fide credentials at all. See Tom didn't report that good old Jezza was trying to pull the wool and got found out telling porkies by his own admission - so there you have it honest straight talking politics

I'm just watching a film called "Confirmation" about the appointment of a coloured judge at whom accusations were levelled of impropriety. Whilst a lunch of all the senators was taking place a bevy of women gate crashed led by a congress woman who demanded that the decision be delayed until the matter had been investigated. It was explained to her that an individual senator couldn't delay the appointment to which she retorted "so much power, so little leadership" and I immediately thought of you know who

Well they pretty much have to tell the truth or become embroiled in court cases. I did notice Jezza didn't threaten to sue and in fact admitted there was empty seats but not on the left side of the carriage

I don't normally give advice for free but I think you should vote for Corbyn because he obviously suits your mind set - though a word of caution would be that sooner or later you're going to be without a messiah or a Paul to lead you to the light. Did I say light? I meant to say left.

As I said earlier there isn't much point in whining about right wing bias in the mainstream media, it isn't going to change, it's a handy excuse when stories like this break but at the end of the day the no matter how it's spun the core facts are the same, the train wasn't "rammed" and there was no need for Corbyn to sit on the floor, he was showboating.

Are there issues about overcrowding on trains and excessive profiteering at the expense of investment? Of course there are but once again Corbyn failed to get that message across, this time because he foolishly tried to make it look worse than it was.

I think to be fair to him it's his "entourage" that worry me most, he appears to be taking advice from idiots, worse than that...idiots with an agenda.

D'you know that Corbyn has been in parliament for 30 years and just what is it he has accomplished in all those years - precisely nothing. For all the Corbynistas out there if in those 30 years he's had no impact whatsoever on the political scene so what makes them think he is going to change the world in the near or distant future for that matter. He hasn't written any books illuminating the left policies merely relying on a treatise written almost a 100 years ago and he obviously hasn't got the intellect to improve on it. There could be a biography coming out shortly, apparently it's to be pocket size.

And as such you are going to end up on the same ignore list as wee man T'man. Him of the nasty put down - and not much else.
In other words, your prime motive above all else seems to be getting a response. I mean, yes, we all want a response - no-one likes to be ignored (do they T'man ? - I know you are lurking here ) But in order not to be ignored you have to contribute. Not punch people in the mouth.
Unlike T'man however, I believe that you are trolling inadvertently - almost innocently - whereas wee man complex T'man almost, as I remember, does it consciously and almost seems to want to make a virtue out of it - not realising that he and his kind are 10 a penny ont'internet.

Get back to the policies - and comment on those, and why you disagree with them.

A great philosopher once said that it's difficult in philosophy sometimes, to say something as good as saying nothing at all. An insight you might well benefit from reflecting upon IMHO.
