It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

some people want voluntary reduncancy and early retirement job losses would be minimal there would just be less postiesclashcityrocker wrote:Job losses will be minimal
Depende if you think 1 in 6 is minimal (16%)
Depends if you are one of those losing your job.

Re: POLL:Get rid of Saturday deliveries?
Every revision that we have had in our unit for the last 10 years has resulted in duties being removed ( retired posts NOT being replaced, everyone else just absorbing the duty ). The CWU were involved with that & we have lost more than 16% of staff. Full timers replaced by part timers etc. No outcry when thats happened.bringon4dayweeks wrote:some people want voluntary reduncancy and early retirement job losses would be minimal there would just be less postiesclashcityrocker wrote:Job losses will be minimal
