Do Royal mail pay the other 20% or do people just get the 80% from the government and that's it?

However i am unsure that if the 80% is reduced then the percentage that RM pay will "top up" to 100%

Union members or not, it seems like the good old "he's getting more than me" attitude is alive and kicking, even in a situation as serious as we currently have.

Funnily enough I posted similar to this a few weeks ago. You could tell then that people were jealous of those being paid to stay at home and yet was shouted down as talking rubbish. I couldn’t give a damn what people buy online as long as it’s sent through RM and keeping us in a job. Also find it strange that so many on here seem to have superior knowledge of what people are buying. Virtually all packets/parcels are wrapped in plastic, brown paper or a box. Plus I don’t have time to launch a thorough investigation of what lies behind the packaging. Do these posties really know or just assuming what people have ordered? What’s one persons idea of crap maybe important to someone else. Get over yourselves keep going on about what people are ordering. Can’t believe people are wishing that others would stop ordering online..... what do you think will happen to our jobs if that really did happen?
