Makes absolutely no sense to pick into a driving round. Drivers should get paid more money - they don't. You are taking on so much more responsibility as the driver. The passenger is laughing. They have zero risk of all the consequences of driving, speeding tickets, parking tickets, having an accident, a rollaway, running someone over.....and therefore losing your job. I wouldn't be surprised if Posties have been sacked for multiple minor crashes. Why would you want to take all this on when you don't have to.

Not to mention it is the driver that has to organise and keep track of the biggies and specials. Another level of responsibility. If your duties are anything like ours then there is no extra time given for this as the walker and driver loops are same.
