Proud of my office we got a return rate of less than 40% last year. It did get our office noted but that was as far as it got. No one bothered to ask us why the return rate was so poor.

MRM.COM : 2020 Employee Survey : All colleagues can complete this year’s survey online
I received an employee survey to fill in as an Angard casual on Monday afternoon. Obviously the "extra concerns" section was filled in with details of quite a few issues we encounter on a weekly and sometimes even daily occurrence. Just like the last time we had a survey on 10th October 2018, I do not expect anything to change sadly but it does not mean I should stop voicing my concerns
Royal Mail OPG at an MC since 2022.

Your lucky if you ever get the results of the survey. It's a complete waste of time (just like them culture visits which we never got any feedback from)

if there is a very low response by the workforce this lot would spin it that it was because the workforce are happy with the changes they want to implement.

We will also get the results much faster than with paper surveys, so there will be more time to spend acting on the results.

But you never act on the results

Spot on my friend!get the result of increased workloads, bullying, harassment, and apathy quicker, brilliant, giving them more time not to give a monkeys and not act on it,and find other things to justify there jobs that won’t benefit us at the sharp end one bit, they really don’t get it how miffed we are, concentrating on real day to issues locally should be the real focus point, not stupidly worded questions that completely miss the point

If it's electronic they might pull the stunt that something has to be filled in or you won't be able to submit it.scoobydo79 wrote:Should We all not put anything at all on the survey? I should imagine no response is the best tactic rather than a rant?
Apparently managers get scored/get a tick in the box towards their employee engagement score even if the survey is sent back blank/lined through.Marshamp11 wrote:I never have filled one in. Just seal it into the envelope, send it off. Job done.

It probably is the case that if paper versions of the survey were returned blank that they would be counted as a survey still responded to. If there is a low response rate the DOM does get it in the neck and RM do notice this has happened.yellowbelly wrote:If it's electronic they might pull the stunt that something has to be filled in or you won't be able to submit it.scoobydo79 wrote:Should We all not put anything at all on the survey? If there is full or high enough response rate & there are written comments they will go forward and be reported to the DOM etc. I can't remember if there was a comments box last year or not. We were on the trial for the internet version and it was possible to enter the survey more than once if you wanted to.
Given that in theory RM is supposed to be promoting sending letters would it not be best policy to stay with paper version of the survey?
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

That’s out of order!! Should have reported Him. Ours kindly asked for them to be handed back to Him to a chorus of laughter and “Yeah right”wallop wrote:Gave up filling them in when my office insisted you returned them unsealed then i saw the then DOM opening them.

My Employee Survey 2020 just dropped through my box with my wage slip, is the survey only available online or can you request a paper copy?
