Wait while duties start failing and then packet drivers will arrive??? Already got the hire vans in
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

...of course they have, just in case democracy is hijacked by those militant posties working to contract only...as it's all about the GE, apparently - whatever!!...NOWT TO DO WITH CYBER SHOPPING AT ALL.
Watch them squirm. feckin' management snakes. But, please, do not on any terms coach or train or mentor any potential strikebreakers// agency staff...its not personal - just not in our job descriptions...even the wpcoaches are not obliged to coach the agency staff: ONLY managers and they cannot be doing opg work either. this is not the season of goodwill to all workers remember that...we are fighting for OUR terms and conditions: no one else's matters. solidarity is our strength.

rmg 'the private business' you are already going down in flames 2019 by your own CEO's hand and i for one won't even pish on the fire to put it out.... shares down 17% !!! :left: SELL SELL SELL!, SChNELL, SChNELL, SChNELL! :Boo hoo! Do you fiddle, or play the hexenscheit mr Back? Time to pay-up, in full, what you owe, bring the union back to the table (with no preconditions) or watch it all burn  you have 18 days to pull your finger out (or your thumb) :thumbup

Democracy may just bite-ya on the 12th of the 12th...I can already hear the drummers drumming. The only way to cross into the next life; is when private judgment occurs within the soul: If the soul is particularly virtuous, the soul goes directly to a better place. If it’s evil and wicked, it’s damned for eternity... mr Rico, here we go!
You forgot that we are lions led by donkeys. Eat my carrot, fella :wave

I got In today and was told to deliver my packets from last week while somebody preps my walk. So I got stuck in traffic for 20 mins getting to my walk to do the packets. 1:30 mins later got back to the office too my walk not being prepped so ended up bring 4 loops back. Was supposed to have packet drivers this week but now its next week. we have had the Van's for a week already :arrrghhh

Same as any other year. The shared van rounds tend to get help with parcels from the additional parcel duties and the rurals tend to deliver everything they get. Shared van duties tend to get back before duty time even though it's Xmas. Rurals tend to overrun but don't necessarily get paid for all the hours they work. We will still have the rule that no one is to deliver in the dark so we won't work past 1600 and anything left will have to go the next day. Each year gets busier than the last plus we have the election mailings as well. Strike appears to be off though and it's starting to look more like this was the intention of the union as they didn't want to disrupt any chance the labour party have.
what about the 2 till 7 van duties for large parcels
That is the 'new parcel strategy' unless you mean the LATs which apparently haven't attracted as much business as RM anticipated. One of the hubs is up I think but they have only just got the other two so it's probably Xmas 2020 when the 2 til 7 starts.
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

A red sleeve is what you sort parcels into inside a full size york and so a cardboard sleeve is one made out of, wait for it.....cardboard. :d'oh!

:Applause How can these idiots STILL think that they're going to get any Good Will from Posties after this IA Shambles? Our own Managers are being asked to try and Manage this Mess (and I have some sypathy for them, because they're not ALL Assholes). The dispondent look on their faces when they try and get a Duty covered, or some Over Time done, says what they think of it. But they are being Pushed Hard by their Immediate Bosses...... We've had Managers covering Deliveries because they haven't got anyone else. It's a Pity Rico and his Cronies didn't have to face the Daily Crap that some Managers are getting. :thumbdown I can predict comments about "Managers deserve it... they Crap on us everyday" However there must be Over 1000 DOMs and some actually treat their Staff decently, and get the job done to the best of their abilities. :hmmmm

Like the Young Girl on Reception they're the ones who always get shouted at, and given the abuse, while the Big Boss just hides in his Office out of sight. :cuppa
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)
