Each Mail Centre has 90 minutes to process it and than it gets trucked to the Delivery Office. Why do you think to get the hour off in Mail centres they are going to have a reliagnment if duties ie resource to the times where the-workload is rather than have traditional early , late and night duties. There will be pressure on early duties , there will be pressure on later finishing times on both lates and night duties and more twi light duties.
Dream on, it either gets into the MC in time to be processed for the 6am dispatch or it fails. It's as simple as that. It's likely to fail anyway and not be touched as we're failing every day. They're going to have to put in a lot of staff in if they want to make it work. We've probably got more chance if seeing a squadron of flying pigs then of them putting the required hours in as the staffing's now always to budget and not to workload.

After 6 the 2C gets set up and we don't have the room to have inward and outward setup at the same time. The earliest that it'll get processed with be after 10amand that's if we have enough staff to process it which we likely won't and good luck trying to find a driver to take it once processed to the DOs, we don't have enough drivers as it is, RM drivers are outnumbered by agency. If RM want the dispatch times any later than 06:30 then they're going to have to axe 9am specials as they'll fail all the time.

Again & again it seems like the CWU/RM and the workforce are working from two different songbooks. One will be correct and one will have no idea or just wants to turn their head & make sheep noises. I agree with that odd character Jeff Bezos that RM do not have enough capacity. The opening welcome from our new boss in the latest edition of the Courier states his two top objectives are firstly to cut costs and secondly.............to cut costs in different words. All this **** got voted through on an uninformed majority vote from a low turnout. I seriously doubt if those persons in charge of the CWU have been posties at all as they seem to have little knowledge of the shop floor. All this quibbling over 12 minutes later start times and how workload has to be changed and making the job more difficult & stressful by not sorting letters into walk frames. Back in the real world many posties have had too much work to do within duty time and have done work unpaid and had no time to take their breaks. Just lost for words with the complete stupidity of it all.
