Pre employment checks. The date has changed since they submitted them though

How long ago did you last get your email update?

Not had an update since they submitted checks on the first May. I emailed them and they have replied just saying the dbs ref and then emailed about start date and they said that dbs not seen by them yet but then few dates later my status date changed.

Today is day 14 so hopefully I will hear something from them, haven't had any replies back from RM at all tho and my last status update is still the 15th of May. How's is yours going Jacko?

I’m on day 20 (working days) and still not heard

Its amazing how much it seems to vary time wise for different individuals. I do wonder if in some areas the induction days aren’t run that often, so you have to wait for one of those to be planned. I think I’m a mere 10 working days since my checks were submitted, two status date updates but nothing else.

I think you might be right! I just had an email saying that I have passed the security checks but that they are currently waiting for a suitable induction course for o be made available and to let them know if my notice has changed. I emailed back saying that I finish work on the 18th as I handed my notice in already.

Hope you do Jacko. I’m just a few days into the dbs check, but hoping the recent ‘issue’ they had in receiving the certs from dbs are sorted and things happen a bit quicker.

Yay, they gave me a start date this morning and handed in my notice at work not long ago, I start in a couple of weeks time, the joys of still being on probation. They take you of after working there for a year and I've been there for around 10 months or so. That means I can only give my work a weeks notice

Seems like the dbs is sorted and going much quicker now then.

Congratulations mate. Wish I knew when I was starting but I leave my job on the 18th so who knows I could end up with a 2/3 week holiday haha

It’s now been 11 working days since I got my email saying checks were being submitted I’ve now had 3 status date changes still not received letter from dbs hopefully not much longer
