But there's one thing Lino's don't like is cut offs on a Saturday, it means they can't go home at 12.A2B wrote:Every office is different but there's no way our office could take a 30min reduction on Monday & Tuesday and still cope with current workload. Whatever way it's allocated i think we'll end up with the greater reduction on a Saturday in the hope we'll rush round.Bernardson wrote:Surely its down to local negotiation. If we are to benefit from the hour reduction I would favour either a half hour off the start time Monday and Tuesday or 15 minutes off the start time Wednesday to Saturday.

If we do get down to 35hrs for full timers, the runners would be better off going part time, if they have to work all their hrs they might as well get a better hr rate! Oh no , I've started people thinking now!

Ours do. We have a DOM and 3 line managers in my DO and never seen any of them delivering cut-offs. One of them walks his dog near where I live and on my Saturdays off I regularly see him before 1pm (3pm finish in our Stalag) when duties have failed.rambo1 wrote:But there's one thing Lino's don't like is cut offs on a Saturday, it means they can't go home at 12.A2B wrote:Every office is different but there's no way our office could take a 30min reduction on Monday & Tuesday and still cope with current workload.
