'Streaming' is willful delay of mail.
If a manager asks you to 'stream' tell him to put that request in writing and to date and sign it.
They wont as he/she knows the implications of 'streaming'.
Leaving you to book docket IF you want overtime or cut off and follow the overrunning procedure.

My manager always says that you’re allowed to deliver certain bulk postings over 3 dayst3mcIUQWE2 wrote:Leaving some mail. For example, if you get a bulk posting for every address and you only deliver to addresses where you have other mail, leaving the rest for another day.Interested-seeker wrote:Sorry, what is streaming?

basically to tell the manager before you leave the office you wont be able to complete, and see what they say, all the time making sure that whatever you are told to take out you feel is achievable, if that isnt the case make it known to them you wont be completing and wish to finish at your duty finish time. If you agree to what you take out and dont complete its "your" fault from RM point of view. They basically dont want to be surprised at 2.30pm when a bunch of people come back to the office with half a delivery undelivered.DrSatan wrote:Ralph Wiggum wrote:'
