Questions for Angard/Reedglobal?

Another question:

Each evening, around 18:15, various sections of the RM Evening Shift workforce have a weekly ‘huddle’ with their Section Leader.

It’s done on a rota basis, each group does it in the same day each week.

The Angard staff are never included, so, are kept in the dark about what is happening, changes in procedures, reorganisations etc.

Yet, we are expected to ‘know’ what is happening ‘instinctively’.

Without us, RM Mail Centres would grind to a halt.

It could all be SO much better.

I appreciate you are busy but it is now over five months since you raised our concerns with Angard. Surely it’s time we had some feedback?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Feel free to add yours and let others know as well......you never know.

There seems to be problems with break times and non shifts correct?

If you want to go into more detail you can PM me in confidence.
Any idea what happens to holiday hours you have left over from last year ? I've got a few left and when I tried to book them for easter I was told holiday hours are being reset to zero for the new year ?

I asked them on the phone last week - they will pay them out in one payment. They don't know when however as they are "waiting for Royal Mail". One of the many things they "don't know"

Received this about two hours ago:

"We are writing to inform you that as Royal Mail's financial year has now ended we have been instructed to pay out any outstanding holiday pay you have accrued up to and including Sunday 31st March 2019.

"We can confirm that all outstanding holiday balances have been processed today. You will see this amount on your payslip dated 12th April 2019 under "holiday".

"Your holiday balance has been reset to zero from 1st April 2019, and as such, you will not see any holiday allowances on your online payslip for this week only."
