We have a few guys who have been working for employment agencies for the last 6 months. Yet, when Royal Mail get stuck and the managers can't manage, they are just ringing staff who work for the agency to come in at very short notice to help them out.
I worked with a kid a few weeks ago and I felt sorry for him. He has been working for the Royal Mail via the agency since just before Xmas last year, and yet Royal Mail have since started a few staff on part-time contracts? Imagine how demoralising that is for the agency worker who wants a employment contract with Royal Mail rather than the temporary ad-hoc one via the agency.
ANNOUNCEMENT : ALL OF ROYAL MAIL'S EMPLOYMENT POLICIES (AGREEMENTS) AT A GLANCE (Updated 2021)... HERE
ANNOUNCEMENT : PLEASE BE AWARE WE ARE NOT ON FACEBOOK AT ALL!
