Ah - so you only get paid for your contracted hours?
If you work beyond your contracted hours you get paid O/T at whatever rate is due, flat rate until 40 hours, O/T rates for the first ten hours, less than flat rate beyond 10 hours. don't let the dum tell you any different.

So:

Up to 40 hours - flat rate
41+ hours - overtime (reduced) rate
