You aren't under any obligation to divulge any mobile number to managers, what's more the new PDAs have a perfectly working phone they can call you on or you can call the office.

Will be interesting to see what the deals are on Monday and whether it is simply the phone, or they are tying us into a package on actual usage, plus what the laptop/tablet models are.

Is it just me, or are the claimed mobile RRP prices for the phones with 24 months accidental damage and theft cover a little ambitious?

For example, they say the Lumia 950 would cost ~£666 including insurance.

Simply googling Lumia 950 brings up prices from ~£270, excluding the damage/theft insurance.

So the insurance costs ~£395 over two years? :left:

Makes the whole claimed savings using the scheme very dubious, do plenty of research before committing to this scheme.

Shame the range of mobiles doesn't offer phones in the true £100-200 current prices, such as the Moto G4. Maybe this will improve oer time?

Same with the MacBook Pro, i know it includes anti virus for 24 months but works out quite a bit more expensive, then there is the charge at the end of 24 months to keep it.

Maybe better of getting a payment gift card for Currys and using that. Saves 8%, though you need to pay in one go.

The Apple Store is also available as a discounted option via MyBundle. As for paying for it all at once, well if you can trust yourself then there's always the option of getting (e.g.) the Tesco Clubcard Credit card which offers 0% on purchases for 27 months.

Well, I've been looking at the laptops as I could do with a new one but I won't be getting one through RM. Where's the savings? The prices they have are near enough RRP which means you can get same products cheaper elsewhere if you can afford to pay in full. And why does it include the Trend Micro crap? Windows 10 includes anti virus and what ever else to keep your laptop protected from dodgy websites. No savings to be had here, certainly from the laptops. Move along.
