Well, there must be something keeping the mail dry because in all my years I have never seen a soggy envelope coming through the letterbox: admittedly, there was a book from Amazon which the stupid pillock left on my doorstep (while I was out of the city on business) to get completely soggy, a few years ago, but other than that, never have I seen a soggy letter delivered by Royal Mail.
