who has woke them up??? I wonder if the 20% reduction(subs) in membership is finally getting them to wake up to the daily horror going on in do's up & down the country?
My grandad once told me there has never been a man born that does not panic if his pockets (£) are attacked, looks like the sheer amount of people leaving the cwu is forcing them to get their hands dirty & do some work instead of looking for an easy life all the time.
If they think its bad now, my gosh wait until 6pm finish times & 6+ hour deliveries come in!!!!!!! The cwu will no longer exist within 12 months!! Alot of people on big money will be unemployed!
Just hope this is the beginning of real change that needs to happen within delivery & its only the cwu & its members that can make this happen! 1st thing that needs to be tackled is the CURRENT workload! Its WRECKING people!

to right, and it doesn't help when in deliverys we have a Mr bob gibson fighting our corner and signing everything off r/m throw at him ,all year lapsing , knocking on neighbours , collections etc , and he then uses the famous words IT SAVES JOBS , our delivery is 6 hours now as we do the job properly , but the powers above still lost 3 dutys out the office , so how does this save jobs oh and weve had 3 vrs and 2 ihr and none have not been replaced. there are a lot of pissed off cwu members in our office and are all thinking of pulling out the cwu .

For every part time duty made their should be a VR for each and every full time one maybe it will be the most senior who get the VR first but it should free up duties for the rest of the full timers and eventually part timers.

Well I'm surprised the union hasn't cottoned on to levying subs from part timers not on the contracted hours but on the number of hours worked. That way they wouldn't need to do anything to increase subs. Come to think of it anyone working overtime would be charged pro-rata and the subs would reflect the amount of weekly pay and not be a fixed charge on FT or PT hours.
