I've been working in a DO for the past few weeks about 15 miles from the DO I usually work in. This one is right in the sticks where you could drive a mile until you come to another house. The scenery is stunning and Instead of dogs greeting me at the gate I've had geese and chickens following me up the garden path. This DO is more intimate with only around 5 of us so nice and quiet unlike the other DO which has around 300 people and very chaotic of a morning. Fingers crossed I get kept here for a while longer.

I had a transfer come through for a full time job at Helston in Cornwall about 10 years ago and turned it down like a muppet. Mother-in-law put the water works on and Mrs Tuffers fell for it  I also had offers at Truro, but they were part-time. Oh well, I'd probably be bored of the scenery by now anyway :confused

A remote Scottish island would do me. Failing that, any rural round that I get to do on my own - there's a few of those in my office, but only the most senior have any chance of getting them, and I don't intend to be be in this job that long.

It would have to be a DO in London as everyone knows they only have 100 calls per delivery and go home 4 hours early every day. Oh, and the streets are paved with gold too

Somewhere posh, Kensington, Chelsea etc. Might get sh*t loads of mail but it would be nice to deliver somewhere other than a rough estate.

Failing that one of these rurals that cover 70-80 miles a day, that much driving can't leave a lot of time for actually delivering!

Actually if i have to do an urban round, I prefer rough estates to "posh" areas - much lighter on packets, and usually get rid of them all as no one goes to work!
