my cwu rep doesnt use emailBudfrog wrote:Once overtime has been authorised (and this can be in the form of a verbal agreement) it cannot be legally withdrawn without the consent of both parties.
If the OT does not appear on your wageslip report it immediately to your CWU Rep by eMail if possible to give yourself an audit trail and copy in the DOM, DSM and local HR lead.

Re: Stealing overtime..
Apparently its a local agreement from over 6+ years ago....theres been 2 new reps since then about 2-3 national agreements and just about half the staff members are new since then too..Bert66 wrote:If there is a "local agreement" then surely your rep would have a copy of this.buchanpeter wrote:Same thing happens in my office.
we are told that if ur early 1 day and late another it balances out throughout the week
They say u've gotta work ur 39 hours a week...even if it means moving 1-2 hours from 1 day to another...
Also if it gets brought up more than once management just say its part of a local agreement in the office O_o;;
so at the moment no one has even seen this so called local agreement....
Do these local agreements ever expire?
might be a high up CWU area rep coming in over the next few weeks.... see what he sez...
