My day off Weds, thats when the DTDs were put in. So i come in Thursday and there all in. I leave them as there's far to many and i dont think its right. He does them today. Thats it. I'm being disciplined because i didn't take them all where i had mail.

Did he do them as part of the duty?
Or did he do them separately - either voluntarily or as overtime?

So he was on it all week; didn't do any on Mon or Tues; put them all in on Wed (after bagging up I assume) hoping you'd deliver the majority of them on his day off so he had it easy on Fri/Sat?

If so, he's taking the piss and should be disciplined for not doing them properly.

So not only did you get stitched up,but you also delivered 20-25% of them which is more than the 1/6th that you were supposed to!

The only mistake the poster has made is that he did it off his own back, what he should have done is taken the matter up with management as soon as he was aware of the situation. If management instructed him to deliver all of them, then he has the right, as do all of us, to not work more than his contracted hours.

He made the decision to not deliver not management, and that is the basis of the conduct interview. Is it fair, no, but hopefully all he'll get is a slap on the wrist and the chance to make this a learning experience. (Apologies for the WPC language) :oops: :oops: :oops:
