Just look at your year to date earnings on your payslip, add on another 2 weeks gross wages, divide by 100 and multiply by 3. There's your back pay figure, mine will be around £570 as I've worked a few days off last year.

Is this correct?OnAFlyer wrote:Just look at your year to date earnings on your payslip, add on another 2 weeks gross wages, divide by 100 and multiply by 3. There's your back pay figure, mine will be around £570 as I've worked a few days off last year.
Does that mean that the 3% flows through to everything? Delivery supplement? SA rate? 1st 10 hours overtime? Over 10hrs overtime? Res driving allowance?
Also what is the Additional increase in the over 10 hours overtime'? Anyone know this?

Good point, it only makes £12 gross difference to a FT'er though. And if you do the calculation next Friday you'll be spot on as you'll still have another £400 to earn before the 21st which will make up for the bonus being deductedWednesday wrote:3% extra on the Christmas bonus then according to that calculation!
As for SA etc, I've no idea as SA hasn't existed for over 10 years here.

Delivery supplement yes, 1st 10 hours yes, over 10hrs not sure but those hours will be made up match basic rate. SA no idea, driving allowance I would assume not.She Raa wrote:Is this correct?OnAFlyer wrote:Just look at your year to date earnings on your payslip, add on another 2 weeks gross wages, divide by 100 and multiply by 3. I forgot how many allowances and extras were in the RM pay system, none apply to me so my figure will be right apart from the bonus not counting.

I doubt that any backpay will apply to bonuses such as the Christmas and Productivity payments as these are a set amount that is not subject to annual increases (although more than previously was offered as a gesture to the failed colleagueshare agreement, and a "one off" nod to our productivity contribution)OnAFlyer wrote:Good point, it only makes £12 gross difference to a FT'er though.Wednesday wrote:3% extra on the Christmas bonus then according to that calculation!

If people had spent as much time reading the agreement ,as they have ,working out the few quid difference regarding overtime etc, this thread wouldnt exist,so sad.

Sounds like you're referring to me.stodgy88 wrote:If people had spent as much time reading the agreement ,as they have ,working out the few quid difference regarding overtime etc, this thread wouldnt exist,so sad.
Well, I read the entire agreement even though I didn't get a vote because I dropped out of the CWU after the shambles of way forward and P&M 2010.
What exactly people were expecting from this agreement is beyond me. All I care about is earning as much as possible from basic pay. I don't get bullied, harassed or find the workload difficult, so yep I am more bothered about back pay and money than anything else.

are you sure the increase will include the delivery supplements as that's not built into your basic wage . these are separate on your wage slip.OnAFlyer wrote:Good point, it only makes £12 gross difference to a FT'er though. It has been agreed to cease and incorporate the total value of these payments (£52m Door to Door, and £40m delivery early shift allowance and grandfather rights) into a new permanent (non-pensionable) supplement to basic pay. This is payable to all delivery office employees directly tagged to and working in the delivery function. The supplement will increase in value as agreed in basic pay rises.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
