Sorry Tommo but just airing my worst fears.. :lfo and :cfo will stop at nothing to make a few more million!! And I can proudly say ive been up there with the best of us on the picket line!! and will continue to in the hope we can restore the servce and job we have enjoyed in the past.. maybe. but this is the first time i`ve ever seen the union worried about the future. they realise now that even their future is at stake. if we go they go too. not bashing anyone. but they`ve had a good ride. and over the years i`ve seen them give more and more away. now theres nothing left but still the managers want more. so now instead of picking away at our allowances. SA. night allowance when on a thru. driving allowance. sat premium. overtime rates. theres nothing left now but duties. we have no choice but to fight. if we lose this the jobs gone. all those going in should realise in truth they`re helping to build the own gallows.

ah , remember when british industry meant something? capitalism was when you could'nt do joined up writing! i'm afraid that royal mail is heading the same way as that last great bastion of british incompetence...british rail. funnily enough another govt owned company .left rotting from lack of investment /upgrading then run down ,sold off .and now lucrative again,from fines and penalties by govt for trains late and faulty lines.see a pattern? postcomm? thing is ,if theres govt fingers in the pie ,it's already dead! we're heading into a recession.fuelled by past greed,look at effects of sub prime in usa! thousands in uk going bankrupt every day. no wage rises.(unless you're in charge of the purse). striking only takes the food from our childrens mouths.we must do the job properly! we show the job as it should be seen. everything the way it should be. then we watch the system get backed up much more than any strikes.more every day .within a month (especially at this time of year) .and you'll still be able to get the little alan and adam dolls for the kids xmas(pins not included).remember we are the union! all of us. we're going down,but we'll fight all the way. (thats if i can take much more of the victimisation!!) lifes a bitch! then you die. ho! hum! kind regards to all !

I agree...... I said this on The Privatising of RM for ages.... They will ruin this service till we are all gone.. Then as no one cares... BUILD IT UP FOR THERE OWN PROFITS.... FAT CATS AND PARASITES!!!
