So being night staff,
i will start at my usual time on sunday evening (22:00), and walk out at midnight.

the following evening, my usual start time would be 23:30, i go in at midnight ?

not necessarily, thats not what happened last time, we need to wait for the strike plan to be released by CWU

Last time if your shift had already started by the time of the strike, you finished that shift as normal and your next shift (which would probably be due to start before the end of the strike), would be the one during which you'd be on strike. Unless we hear different it's probably best to assume that it'll be like that again

big protest and demo on 5th in london with marches heading to parliament
civil disobedience groups with vendetta mask etc join the fun guys
and while your there have a right good guy fawkes and do the right this time

the strike will probably be 6pm monday to 6pm tuesday
so work monday the 4th if your start time is before 6pm and finish your shift even if its after 6pm
then strike for full shift on the tuesday even if it finishes after 6pm
ok tuesday may be light for deliveries but its a very busy day in the mailcentres
this will have most impact and backlog will last for the rest of the week

Its because they want to have a large demo - that the reason driving the Monday strike.

Not a word of a demo been mentioned in my office,and its a big office,only know by seeing it on here,so much for being a communication union.they need to do much better if they want to keep peoples support

I'm not sure where this "most Mail Centre workers are off on Monday" idea came from. What's left of the early shift might mainly do Tue-Sat but the late shift and night shift are likely to be Mon-Fri
