So I came in today and went to management explained my point of view cause I hate unfairness they agreed with me and to behonest everyone can see tthat is the right way to act well 10 minutes later I had mr power hungry on my case telling me that I shouldn't get involved I just have to follow what he agrees with management and I replied don't think so mate if you're preaching you need to practice it you can't have one rule for you and a totally different one for us to what he replie yes I can cause I know what's best for us when he said that I left cause it was such a pathetic answer I can't even be bothered to reply to it now my doubt is this he wasn't nominated by us he just went forward and said he will do it so I'm thinking how can we solve this who do we gave to go to sort mr power hungry out? Do we need to write a letter saying that we don't want him to represent us after all union means united not mr power hungry says I and the other ones follow is it?

To get him out you'll need someone willing to step into his shoes. You can then either go for a vote of no confidence or see the branch and get an election sorted.

about 40 of us want him out in a office of 50 cause he keeps doing sneaky on us so what is the right procedure please?

Contact your Branch.
Sign a motion of no confidence in your rep.
Arrange a meeting so he can have a right of reply.
Have another vote of no confidence.

Contact your Branch first and keep Wimbledon in the loop.
Nobody will like what you are doing and if you remove your rep a lot of bridge building will need to be done.

well everyone keeps encoraging me to replace him but i don't really know what to do i am in 2 minds nobody appointed this rep though he just came forward and said i will do it and no one had a say that is the main reason people don't want him there can have a phone number or anything to branch cause i can't find it anywhere lol sorry

All this shows why trying to make people work their paid hours is unrealistic in a job like ours.
1) Manager tells people all paid hours must be worked. Which obviously means overtime can't commence until own duty time finishes.
2) Manager asks one of his overtime pets whether they want a bit extra. Because of new rule, pet tells manager to stick his overtime up his arse.
3) Manager now has to deliver walk himself, or it doesn't go out. Manager gets fed up.
4) Manager now tries to relax rule for people doing overtime. On the quiet at first, but people soon get to know. People point out that is obviously unfair.

Rule gets scrapped, and we go back to as before. A finite amount of work, which some people do much quicker than others.

Unless of course you are given so much work to do that it is virtually impossible to complete within your contracted hours.
