Overtime when lapsing

Don't know don't lapse but its up to management I guess

The only reason i ask is if you lapse another duty surely your doing this because so called traffic figures are down and allows managment to lapse, but if your booking it against your own duty then that ain't showing up on o.t sheet as the lapsing duty. the idea of lapsing i thought was to save hours and money. ( towards gaffers bonuses). anyone with any answers ?

From our last WTLL, we lapse because the power-that-be wants us to lapse. There is now no rhyme or reason behind it - manager told us so, we will lapse even if we are overstaffed; the spare staff will be sent to another office.

We now lapse some walks with posties on long-term sickness/absence.

The traffic issue is just a red-herring - the traffic figures are spurious at best and how are we supposed to know and monitor the figures. Once lapsing starts they simply just carry on and true-to-form; posties try to accommodate lapsing by coming in earlier or short-cutting

I think people who come in early, miss their PAID meal relief, tear-arse around etc, should be rewarded ..........................with absorbtion...................they are the ones who give management the 'tools',
when on earth will they wake up and smell the coffee ?
