Not sure what qualifies for Special Leave Paid. Nothing springs to mind, aside a death. Wasn't it supposed to be the case that at least 1 day could be claimed paid, per year, for family emergencies?

As i posted before i had to fight to get 2 days special leave paid due to daughters stabbing ,being a single parent is probably the only reason i got it !!! Certainly not by any management sympathy
