When an office goes on to Park and Loop, roughly how many jobs go?
There's approximately 40 delivery posties in our section at the moment. P&L is due in a few months. Should 5, 10, 15 of us be having squeaky bum time?
Any advice/experience much appreciated

Two posties at the moment doing two rounds of say, 700 drop points. With P&L, same two posties doing a round of 2000 drop points. Isn't that the general idea? To cut the number of staff?bigcol wrote:L8Hatter wrote:When an office goes on to Park and Loop, roughly how many jobs go?

Re: offices still without a revision.
You are right to be concerned but what makes you think that the blokes who are doing 700 drops can suddenly manage a 1000? Bearing in mind that all specials, tracked, packets and parcels will also be done by the same two blokes. The liklihood is that bulk duties will be cut because you won't be doing bag drops and the firms on the P&L duties will be be done by the P&L guys. Now because of the increase in packet/parcels on the former 700 deliveries then there is more than a good chance that more duties will have to be created. There are no hard and fast rules really it depends on what your breakdown is likely to be in terms of walking with HCTs and P&L.L8Hatter wrote:Two posties at the moment doing two rounds of say, 700 drop points.
