This is the main reason. Stupid idiots still running round thinking they can somehow 'win' or beat the the system. When will these guys get it into their heads, this isn't the old days, if you are consistently back early then you will eventually be given more work to do. And who suffers? Everyone! Numpties some of the people in my office.

So basically the message is, take a chill pill, stop running round like an idiot, use your trolley and do your job properly. Maybe even take a 20 minute break between rounds, don't come in early and sdon't work through your break. OR YOU WILL BE GIVEN MORE WORK TO DO!!!

I was always under the impression, pre P&L anyway, that you would all go out in a van, starburst stylee and deliver it,then the van man would take you on to your duty.

This would put a spanner in the works if it was done this way, especially on the busy days, but we know the reality of what happens in most offices.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
