I think the 2 dayers will put a lot of people off coming back out on strike, union haven`t been relaying enough info directly to members homes etc for them to be fully aware of EVERYTHING and how serious some of the s**t is.
I`m a sub rep and if it wasn`t for this place I would have been in the dark as much as the next person to what is going on either in the union, RM or the rest of the country, and the things that have been going on (watford, oxford etc) thye members should have got to know directly from the union and for the union to really bring these examples to the forefront to do some serious RM bashing :lfo :cfo and bring back the strike breakers back into the action...

I think these dates are just rumors!
Why would they start the strikes off again,
with 48 hours stoppage, cause if its right,
then we won't get 100% backing, i know at least
a dozen people at my office of 70 would scab! Or are we being shafted by the union AGAIN!

I'm not convinced that the 48 hrs will have the support of the rolling strikes - there are a lot of waverers out there and a lot of people think this has been badly handled. I certainly wouldn't applaud this - it's long overdue. I hope these people realise they are voted in and haven't done themselves any favours.

I might be a bit dim here but if we are ALL out Fri/Sat/Mon/Tue what backlog is there going to be and from where? There will be a backlog but it will be later in the week. And I'm not looking to delay it I'm looking to STOP it, like the flexibility and the pension shambles
seems to me the cwu are digging there own grave they have gone about this the wrong way more or less from the start and there biggest mistake is not getting any info to there members fair enough when they were in closed talks but they have been over for ages now and still we have fu ck all from them ill never break any strike they call but the way they have acted who can blame the strike breakers for going in
