As for lapsing, only mugs do lapsing, the clever ones make sure they finish their own walks right on time.

Strangely, in our office, the only day people manage to finish early is Saturday.

Been told ours starts 11th June for 10 weeks and there will be no cut-off's, no overtime and it must be done.

So if you have time to do it in your hours do it. If not then ignore them and cut off, following the appropriate procedures by letting them know you may cut off before leaving the office, etc.

They cannot make you work over your time so stand up to them. If they make a big issue of it then get your rep involved and if he/she wont help get an area rep involved. They cannot make you work for free that's called slavery and was abolished a bloody long time ago!

no lapsing yet after p and l ,but we did adopt a stiffy model week,so the do it proper folks cut off late in the week. It don't help that the MC seems to be out 30% on it's forcasted figures(how can that happen)
However due to runny s**t brains not taking their meal reliefs or doing van checks and coming in early , I can see lapsing making a comeback

I agree with the forecasts being out, well out! Our packet figures are just silly at the minute, were running at just under x mas levels, yet forecast is only slightly up. A couple of months ago our forecast took a 100% jump/spike yet it was a normal week, what sort of forecast is that?

10 wks , weve been doing p&l for well over a year now and weve been doing this since jan ( again) , mon , tues, sat and we did the same last year till nov and trying to get hold of the union office rep who is also the area rep who picked a duty and never done it who agreed to this , he wont answer his phone or talk to the members . oh and some people are going over putting the o/t down and the following week not getting paid for it , the managers are just doing what they like, since jan weve had 3 people leave the job. but the cwu go on about safe keeping jobs but the way there working it people will leave anyway.

If he's the area rep he can't be the office rep especially if he's on full time release,you need to get a rep at your office.

and it dont help when the union man looks after his own ours is one office but three postcodes and we all work different hours and guess which side has it easy (yea the reps side)
