Why?
What kind of feedback do we have from the membership to pursue any kind of policy?
What troubles the membership Lovejoy?
WCM? :left: ,A Colleagueshare replacement with more strings? :left:
CWU fake board members? :left: Job security...yes but who can really honestly promise that with privatisation around the corner....Moya could be out of a job this time next year.

What really troubles members is the job itself, the pressure, the bullying, the harassment, the constant battle just to be treated with some kind of respect, the unachievable workloads, the pressure not to be sick in case you're treated like a liar, dismissed or IHR'd,the piss poor representation some areas receive, the treatment of part-timers,reserves,the failure of park&loop, the failure of anyone at HQ to admit the failure of park&loop...the list is not exhaustive.
Unfortunately those are taboo subjects for forums because they involve some admittance that perhaps we might be getting some things badly wrong.
This Policy Forum is being set up as a back slapping exercise where various new agreements will be unfurled to promote just how well RM and the CWU work together when the ties are close and we're all holding hands and then the board member move will be made.
fait accompli...and the membership?....f**k 'em.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

You have stated the reality of the working man within the delivery element of Royal Mail ft. The glitterati aren't interested in the nitty gritty of everyday life, they've hitched their wagon to Royal Mail and left the working man behind. For too long they have led a charmed life of unopposed elections and an all to willing circus of followers to congratulate them on their short comings and now an employer willing to accept them into the fold..................aint life grand.

Well not totally custard, only those on the gravy train and on the periphery, for when the nod is needed. You and I just pay for it.
