I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

my recent experience:
started by 'shadowing' for the first couple of days, followed by two days of sharing the walk (3 of us on p&l). day 3, just me and the driver on the p&l, left to get on with it.

was knackered after the first day, but recognised the symptoms of dehydration, so after that took a bottle of isotonic with me each day and have finished each day more or less the same, which is fit enough to do other things, including riding home…

if i didn't have cycling fitness to call on, i may well have suffered a lot more… :wink:
