Mail should be delivered as addressed, if it's addressed to his house, you deliver it to his house. If it's addressed to his shop, you deliver it to his shop. We deliver by address not name or convenience.

When I say "we" I mean you lot :chuckle

Seen my union rep first this morning regarding this,as well as line manager and dom.Good news is they are backing me up on this.I've too deliver too his stair and not deliver mail or packets too him in his shop.A letter is sent too him today [maybe too his home] about his abusive attitude towards royal mail staff,looks like if any mail that goes too his shop,will; have to come and collect it for himself at the office :nana

One small point also Andy, don't stop delivering the mail permanently on your own back. You can take the mail back each day and endorse it for the reasons you have stated but it's the Linos call to permanently suspend delivery.....

Next time and everytime, u meet this guy, have voice recorder ready on your phone (if u have that),
don't video as thats illegal, i think u are ok with just recording audio,
at least that way, if this guy is a prick with you, u can prove it to your gaffer, instead of his word against yours.

Your right mate.As for the packets going to his flat and no answer,then a card will be through his letterbox,although i know that he is in is shop.Been told to go by the book then so be it.I now regret that i was only helping the guy out in the first place.So there you go a ungratefull customer :cuppa
