I've still not filled out an ET1 yet.
I tried phoning Reed today, and asking to speak to an Angard rep (this tactic was mentioned on another thread, by someone who got it resolved quickly doing so). I was given the 0845 number I already had, and told to call that. I didn't. I checked the forums here, to find this number to call them on: 01604 629381, which I can confirm works fine. Took me several attempts to get anyone to answer the phone, but I got through eventually.
I got through to a guy who was just taking my details ("and somebody will contact you"), although at least he had access to some of what they'd paid me, as he could give me the number of hours they think I worked, and I could say "no that's wrong" etc. Sadly, he was hurrying through the call at such a rate we had to keep repeating stuff.
I lost count of how many times I gave him my email address, and I'm still not sure they have it right. The fact that I had to say ".net" every time tells me he wasn't really listening to me. Maybe I should have suggested they look on some of the emails I've sent them, for clarification.
Angard seem so unprofessional. I've had jobs where I've answered phone calls I couldn't deal with. I worked for the govt's National Tax Credit helpline just after it started, with angry benefit claimants phoning me all day, and all I could do (for several months) was take details from people complaining, and pass them on. At least I listened to people.
Really, I've given him the same details over the phone I've given by email. I have little hope of that resulting in payment to be honest.
I also asked about holiday pay. It'll be delivered with our P45, on the 3rd February. I won't mark it on the calendar.
