Seriously James, you'll be alright mate! Don't worry about Monday. You overslept and these things happen. You'll see lad! You'll be fine.

Its the first time I've really worried about a job, I was army based before joing RM, I've been to Iraq and spent a short time in Afghanistan, I didnt worry then as It was my duty but just simple over sleeping has made me feel like I've let them down, but at the end of the day, I've not commited a crime by over sleeping, I've seen people killed and killed people myself so it puts it all into perspective. Its a job and mistakes can happenIWW Fellow Worker wrote:How dare you do what the screws do every other Saturday and spend time with your family or watch sport!JAMESMARSH1980 wrote:In a nutshell erm Yeah, been pub drank a few, spent a bit of time with my niece, watched a bit of footy, and helped an old crusty over the road, Cant fault myself really, but when the mocker hits the fan on monday for me not going in today, I may need a bit of cheering up babes !!Carla wrote:Enjoyed your day off then

I'll tell you what mate. You get back on here on Monday and tell us how you went on. I'll bet everything will be fine. They won't sack you for having a day off. I've been here since 1980 so there isn't much I haven't seen from these bloody managers, but I'm telling you to put your mind at rest. You will be sound.JAMESMARSH1980 wrote:Its the first time I've really worried about a job, I was army based before joing RM, I've been to Iraq and spent a short time in Afghanistan, I didnt worry then as It was my duty but just simple over sleeping has made me feel like I've let them down, but at the end of the day, I've not commited a crime by over sleeping, I've seen people killed and killed people myself so it puts it all into perspective.
