The question has to be asked though...
If Angard are simply going to pay temps the same as equivalent RM employees and give them the same rights,terms and conditions as equivalent RM employees....it kind of makes Angard rather pointless doesn't it?

Manpower ETC charge RM at least twice what they pay the temp I have heard £20 PH, not sure if it is that much but at least £12 I would think.

I heard Angard get £16.

When you consider the cost of a permanent employee to an employer is normally between 2 and 3 times what is paid to the employee - allowing for sickness, employer NI contributions, pension, holidays, etc. The tax advantages of paying an agency for workers. The benefit of being able to drop the agency worker at very short notice (some turn up and are instantly told they are not wanted) or give them a very short time (less than 2 hours has been known). The benefit to RM are good even if they follow the AWR guidelines.

Anyone got any update on what benefits we should now be getting. I still havent heard anything useful and this week will be my 17th since 1st October - if I go in at any point.
