i take it your just a temp worker too then ??

there so much this happening with this agency.. who was thinking it was good idea to hire them to recuirt people and treat them like pieces of meat

i feel so sorry for the people who get turned away even if they have an offer letter etc

im alittle worried

I hadn't been sent the final confirmation mail, rand Angard Xmas number middle of last week, when I eventually got through the lady assured me I would receive it before I was due to start (today)

Tried to ring yesterday, could not get through at all

Turned up today at the Mail Centre 7:00 a.m. They had no record of me at all.

OK since my earlier post above, things have happened:

1. got a text stating security checks passed, we will be in touch when we have an assignment

2. got an e-mail stating similar, with booklet file attached and advice for first day (but no date mentioned)

Now, the RM recruiting website already had me marked as "Security test passed" and has had for some weeks. The status of my application on the website now reads "HIRED Start date agreed"

Thing is, my provisional offer letter, given to me at the Novotel sign up event, stated a start date of 29th Nov (today)

I'm now more confused than cross, and nobody is answering phones

that is rather odd tbh why are they being so awkward with people and fat chance you get an answer off them because they normally hang up on you or dont bother telling the truth or an answer to your questions

Angard are a bunch of useless tossers who could not care less if you work or not. You may work for weeks and not see a penny because the paperwork has gone missing. Do you want to take that risk? Angard managers will be paid of course. They will be paid what used to be our shift bonus. We never needed these people before. Temps worked for Royal Mail and they had plenty of under-employed clipbord jockeys. Now we have the prospect of Angard idiots trying to look like they know their arses from their elbows. Maybe you want to do voluntary work for these f***ers but not me. Another nice little job ruined.
