We signed for tracked in the offices I worked in. They were treated like specials ironically enough...
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

in our office trackers are thrown onto the oversize pkt york which you sort out after like large packets if they fit in your two bags you deliver them,also ive had a fair few sign for trackers lately ,we dont sign for any tracker ourselves

Which is overkill - because the price they are being charged for the service doesn't require the postman to sign for it. It had been suggested that tracked would be a tailored service encompassing both recorded and special delivery reflected in the price, depending on the customers requirement i.e time, date, signature etc. and would be opened up to private customers. I believe that will happen but it's a fair way off yet.
