With being on the sick will my manager visit me ?

Off with stress once, doctor told me not to sit in the house moaping but to get out in the fresh air also if management gets in touch it could be classed as harrasment.

Some of these posts are laughable[and ive been told on here im a wind up merchant]If you are sick and have a sick note,the gaffers can, say,ask,plead,demand, as they like,all you have to do is say you are unfit for work as stated on your sicknote.The trouble is Royal mail has made a big rod for itself with the 6day self cert[which toooooo many people have abused]We all know who these people are,in my office people have the 12 month sicknote worked out to the day,in one respect i actually agree with the gaffers checking[as there has been to much false sick over the years]but do admit ,they can get a bit on top with the genuine sick lads

get about 20 of your mates to hide in the other room , then when he enters the house get them to bully and harass him and see how he likes it after all they have been doing to the staff for the last 20 years , lowest form of life on this planet

When one of our lads was off sick long term one of the managers asked to do a home visit so he phoned the chap asked if it was ok,the whole thing was the DIM did not believe the guy was injured as badly as he said,he had ripped a ligament in the knee playing footer for Royal Mail,the hospital that had seen him said he would need an op to fix the knee but they could not do it until his knee had gone down,the guy phoned me so i said if you have said yes then what i would do was get the Area Rep to turn up and the Area Health and Safety Rep to turn up as well,the reason for this was that i knew they would try and say he could work in the office while waiting for his op,when the manager turned up and both reps were there his face was a picture he didn't stay long he saw him saw them made some excuse and left,the only regret i was not there to see his face!
