Transfers to other offices

This is on behalf of one of colleagues whose internet is pete tong at the moment- he has been employed for just over a year , 25 hrs a week on a fixed term temp contract. There are vacancies at the D.O. where he lives and when he asked our DOM if he could transfer he was told no !!!!! any advice for him

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
