Yes I suggested that once but apparently Quadrant are the sole suppliers and we are not allowed to bring in any one else, consequently they can charge what they like.

At our office we have a catering van which comes into the yard and sells drinks rolls pie's etc.everyday.

The vending machines are awful, and I try and avoid them. However, it's hard when you get back in the summer, you've got a couple of quid in your pocket, and you're gagging for a drink that isn't water. Lucozade at £1.50 ain't cheap, but it's quick - quicker than the nearest shop which is a good fifteen minute walk off the industrial estate. Not ideal, but that's what these machines prey on - convenience. I'm going to endeavour not to use them from now on, but we'll see how far my resolve lasts when it's 30 degrees outside. Pray for me, guys.
