How your office chooses to deal with that is a discussion your rep should be having with your manager at the weekly resource meeting.
And the guideline is a minimum of 16% per day over 6 days...not 20% over 5.
As far as room in your bags goes....make more bags.

Some cheeky sod ripped the label off theirs and out the box in my slot this week. Needless to say I took it straight to my lino and said it's not mine only to be told that was the second one this morning.BT2010 wrote:gb93 wrote:Even a reasonable instruction to follow the agreement ?BT2010 wrote:
if its my day off on monday (for whatever reason) under no circumstances would i take mondays D2Ds on another day.
no, we have had this in our office with floaters not delivering them, i refused to take them as the floater should have done them.
happened on a few occasions but i point blank refuse.
there were boxes of them strewn under my fitting recently when i had been on annual leave, i stuck the lot of them outside managers door.

Throw your job away in this economic climate because you can't be arsed delivering the D2D.
It amazes me how some of these guys manage to get dressed in the morning without killing themselves.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

At Royal Wedding week we will have 4 days to do doors to doors. Knowing the company we probably have 6 lots in that week.

Simple enough, on the royal Wedding week you'll have to take a minimum of 25% per day, (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday). If you have agreed to not do Saturdays then I hope you enjoy delivering your minimum 33% per day!

You will probably get Sky mags and election stuff that week as well....they will be due to come in then and the election stuff usually comes in close to the election date!Darren Bent wrote:At Royal Wedding week we will have 4 days to do doors to doors. Sorry lads and lasses, the following paragraph is part of the agreement that was voted for by the majority of members(sic)
How should I manage my D2D delivery?
• You will receive your D2D mail by start of duty each Monday.
• Prep at least 1/6th into the frame each day starting from Monday and deliver it (Note: this will be at least 1/5th on Bank Holiday weeks).

Putting 25% of my D2Ds in each day tues to fri as management in my office has stipulated. Gotta make sure those casuals have plenty to do when I cut off!
No idea what's planned for the bank holidays, I wouldn't be surprised if the DIM threw them all down the bomb chute the way things are going!!!

We have been told that Lapsing "Absorbtion" may/will be cancelled during Bank Holiday weeks to help get door 2 doors done.
