Van driver security issue??

One rather clever technique i heard of to gain access to vehicles is to take advantage of a safety feature thats available on quite a few cars,
some cars have a sensor that detects if the car is submerged in water and automaticaly unlocks the doors and maybe lowers the windows,
thieves know where the sensor is, and use a rubber bulb to squirt water into it, and voila, unlocked car,
i doubt transits have this feature, probably more for luxury / expensive cars, i read somewhere on this that it worked on a VW Touareg.
