If you've had a revision and aren't getting the money then it's because your revision manager isn't sending in the paperwork - that's what ours told me. Once the paperwork goes in you get the money within 3-4 weeks.

Re: RM refuse to pay £200 revision payment
Any part deployment should trigger the payment. Our rep signed off stage 4 and we got the £600 within 4 weeks. The rest of our P&L revision has now been delayed/binned as well.

Re: RM refuse to pay £200 revision payment
We have had walk sequenced mail for approx 6 months in SPDO. Parts of our main DO have also park and looped for same period but apparently there has been no agreement, and now been told that any revisions have been pulled. Am I to assume that we are still not entitled to any of the money.

I've heard some offices are still going ahead with part revisions. What is the unions view on this. Shouldn't they communicate a bit with the members?

Walk-sequenced mail. Another management fad, slowly disappearing into the sunset. Bye-bye head office dream of 2007! We'll sure miss you! Don't forget to write!
(Ok, I know it's still going to be around, just not the whole "every last piece of mail arrives pre-sorted" scenario.)

When they have raked enough cash in on the d2d contracts you may get some cash EG:PT Staff getting paid pro rata for 5 lots of d2d= cash in the bank for RM.

Well I know your Anti Union but come on at least try to make a valid point. You do not need a Union to go on strike - OK it is easier to organise and its more lilekly to get results if you have Union backing - but you do not need to have a Union backing you.

Re: RM refuse to pay £200 revision payment
well said TBT.
i have noticed that the CWU have taken a back seat in all of this but in reality we dont have any problems so long as RM carry out modernisation as per agreement.
all dutys should be acheivable within the appointed posties contracted hours.
no bags to hump round as trolleys and van will do that.
more D2Ds means more prep time in the warmth of the DO.
a nice bonus sometime between now and 2013.
so yes, i will agree that the union are sitting back while every RM manager is pulling their hair out, but any problems are problems for management.
until they come out and admit it has failed or arrange to meet the CWU to make amendments to the existing agreements there is nothing that can be done.
after what has happened in recent months i doubt RM will continue down the cut at any cost road, but perhaps just a few tweeks here and there to existing duties, introduce vans, HCTs and LWTs and we will then have a relatively easy job on comparason to the weights we have had on our backs recently.
if your revision is suspended ask your DOM to order you a trolley and take it from there, van drivers will have to collect all the trolleys each day which will give more incentive to make dutys comparable in size and perhaps create hours or even jobs within the DO.
the job is only as bad as you make it.
