That is a subject the union should be taking Royal Mail to task over.
Down to the local rep to kick up a stink 1st.

In fact it's down to the local rep to kick up a stink about a lot of local things but there you go.
Why?
I could see your point if it was a new issue.
Do you think HQ don't know it's happening POSTMAN?
Though we had a new relationship/understanding blah,blah,bollox.
I'd be interested to know whether HQ know tbh, maybe Dingo could enlighten us.
Moving on from that, are local reps just going to sit on their hands and wait for HQ to sort bits out when some of it it could be sorted at local and branch level.
You've been on here and in the job long enough to know that there are a lot of bad reps about which is my point.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I get what you are saying about some reps but i know that HQ know about this because management pulled this stunt during the I/A in 2009(was it that long ago) and it was flagged up to them and then they pulled the same stunt with December 26th 2009 and again we made an issue of it but we were basically told to forget it because they were in the middle of talks.
So who's having who on here?...they know and it stinks.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
