Sounds like another STRIKE could be looming .
I think if we went on strike the ConDem goverment would be secretly delighted because we would be self destructing and giving them the ammunition for privatision . What a downer , a choice between letting the most incompetent management ever carry on and run RM or industrial action . Talk about being in a lose lose situation .
I think it's a matter of keeping our heads down and just hope the powers that be realise that RM is a service and not something for people to line their pockets with .

Well on the last point, that won't happen and as for another strike you're right, plus the CWU would go bust if it committed itself to another one. It can barely afford the HQ building as it is. Another strike would finish it off altogether.
Don't believe everything you're told in the rest room

If the revisions being put in are unachievable and the consequence is more bullying by management,i hope
we do something about it,because i aint about to go through daily ding dongs with the gaffer over booking 20 mins
docket,'traffic figures say' etc and if this the case up and down the country then surely somethings gotta give?

Yes, but the amount you get from selling back is not set in stone and the five grand figure was a estimate of what we might get from ALL CS payments not just the buy back money.
You also need to take into account the £1000 worth of lump sums for revisions are a replacement for the third and final allocation of shares.
Contracted hours also play a part in how much you get and joining date. There will be OPGs who were employed at the 2nd allocation but not the first so will receive less money.
