I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
can't wait for the spin in the next Courier "OPG I.AMLYING says "I tunnelled to work through the snow,my manager made sure we ate ALL of the Xmas Fayre that they had laid on before we went out,i was so happy i did 3 duties & finished before my time..............i love my job"
Art as expression
Not as market campaigns
Will still capture our imaginations
We've failed deliveries, not from snow but from the revision. It would be true to say that in over 20 years we have failed more deliveries from this revision than we have from inclement weather.
No deliveries for 4 days and when our local paper 'derby telegraph' asked about it Royal Mail denied they had cancelled the deliveries! Apparantly the piles of mail in our DO are our imagination!
weathers heres been atrocious too, weve all had to do our deliveries. When you tell them you just want to work to youre time , they try and make you feel really bad bout it ,,,. The streets will be sheets of ice , last year when it was trecherous with ice i completed my delivery ,i will not risk my health and safety this time round! anyone else feel the same?
